New Dreams

It's a new day
In a new way
And I wake up to a dream
So different from yesterday's

A new sun
is shining bright
and sparkling in my eyes
is my new life

A dream that I saw
before I knew what it was
The dream that lost meaning
As I fit into a practical life


That dream has come again
Shining in my eyes with the sun
And it is changing the meaning
Of how life had once begun


New challenges are burgeoning
on this new path to come
But I look out of my window
and smile with the sun


I know it won't be easy
I know it will transform
But I still look forward
To this new dream unborn.
