Every morning you and I
Shall promise to put on a smile
And keep it on throughout the day
No matter the road bends which way

We'll live our life light and bright
And fight it hard and fight it right
No matter how we look or feel
Within, without and in between..

We'll depend only on our selves
To climb out when low we dwell
And if that doesn't work as well
I'll pull you out from any hell

The you in me and the me in you
Will help us grow through all the trues
The lies we shall laugh at them
And brush them off our collar's hem

We'll grow bigger and brighter then
When we hold each other through every bend
When all we need is this small key
